More Sex with Feng Shui

This is an interesting feng shui topic to write about, I thought.

Sex is healing, beautiful and very powerful. Many ancient cultures knew the mysteries and secret healing powers of sexual energy, and we have yet to learn to respect, understand and be comfortable with the power of our sexuality.

Having said that, here are some feng shui tips to help you attract stronger sexual energy into your life - feng shui tips for sex - as well as to attract a sexual partner to practice with. If you fall in love, do not blame feng shui for it!

  • Create your own feng shui sex cure by clearly expressing your intent in a visual format. This can be an art piece, a photo, or a small sculpture. From a feng shui cure such as a photo of modern lovers to a small golden sculpture of Shiva & Shakti in sexual union - only you know what you emotionally respond to. Place your feng shui sex cure in the Northwest area of your home or your bedroom.

  • Create a private space that will be supportive of the exchange of sexual energy. Your bedroom should have good feng shui sexual Chi enhancers, such as warm colors, soft furnishings and a comfortable bed. Clean air with a sweet fragrance of essential oils such as ylang-ylang, sandalwood, neroli or jasmine will increase the sexual drive, as will candlelight and sensual music. Display explicit sexual art to set the desired feng shui for sex energy.

  • Create a good flow of sensual Chi in your bathroom. The feng shui energies of the bathroom and the bedroom are intricately connected in promoting a strong flow of sexual energy.

  • Check your whole space for the flow of sexual energy. The feng shui check-up here will be close to the one you will do when checking your space for the feng shui flow of love. The focus, though, will be on sexual activity versus a committed partnership.

  • Increase your personal energy and sexual charisma. Find out your feng shui birth element and your kua number and have your bed facing one of your best direction. Focus on living and working in places with good energy, on exercising, eating the right foods, etc.

  • Be clear with your partner about the intent to enjoy sexual pleasure without being romantically involved. This will set the right feng shui energy for your exploration. It will also attract the energy of pleasure versus hurtful emotions or misunderstandings.
Ultimately, sex is a powerful in yin-yang energy exchange, thus you need to be mindful of the quality of your own energy and the energy of people you want to attract. In the world of feng shui energy, like attracts like, so be what you want to attract.

Feng Shui Nursery Case Study: Feng Shui Tips for Calmer Nights with the Baby

Jane and Patrick welcomed baby Samantha on a bright April morning. Jane was a feng shui client of mine; both she and her husband have busy and successful careers, keep a big home and a myriad of other activities and commitments.

Four months after the baby's birth and still very little sleep at night, Jane asked me to check the feng shui energy of the home and see if there is anything that can be done with feng shui to calm the situation. The baby was a very light sleeper and was crying a lot, this started taking its toll on the health of both parents, as well as their relationship.

Here's what was happening in the house:
  • The baby's room looked very busy and was overloaded with various bright colored items, as well as electrical appliances. This created a very active, strong and even disturbing quality of feng shui energy.

  • The most dangerous part were the very high electromagnetic fields, way above the normal level, coming from a variety of sources: the baby heart monitor placed under the mattress, the baby video monitor, as well as the very strong radiation from the wall adjacent to the home office.

  • Baby's crib was placed in line with the door. Even though not too close to the door, it still had a disturbing and too strong of a rush of feng shui energy for a little baby to handle well.

  • The parents bed room was totally overtaken by baby-related items, as was practically every other open space in the house.
Here's what we did:
  • We addressed the very high level of electromagnetic fields by letting go of numerous baby-related electrical gadgets (most of them rarely used!) We also solved the very unfavorable vicinity of two spaces: home office and baby's room by relocating the baby's room further away from the office.

  • The parents' bedroom came back to its "original" look and feel of a bedroom of two adults who love to share intimate moments, as well as have a good night sleep! This included gathering all the baby-related items in a small area that was visually not competing with the main purpose of an adult bedroom: to sleep and make love.

  • We created similar areas in most parts of the house - family room, kitchen/dining, home office, main entry - where baby-related items where clearly and nicely organized together without overwhelming the space.
Here are the results:

Just a couple nights after the feng shui changes were implemented, Jane called to report all family members are sleeping well. Patrick feels much happier and enthusiastic about their future, and Jane changed her mind about never having another baby!

Japanese Glass Wind Chimes-Bring Peace and Serenity To Your Garden

Wind chimes have been in existence for over 5000 years. They are one of the world's oldest musical instruments and are known world-wide today to help sooth and calm people by their sweet and melodic sounds.

Japanese glass wind chimes, or simply glass wind chimes began appearing in about 1000 BC along the Mediterranean. Shortly thereafter, it was often seen in Far Eastern temples as a method to ward off evil demons and spirits. Today, Japanese glass wind chimes are used for garden and yard decoration as well as indoors near windows or where a breeze will "catch" it as well as on patios, decks and entryways of many homes.

Feng Shui uses Japanese glass wind chimes (as well as those made of other materials) to aid in organizing and directing the travel of energy through a space in order to provide the best possible flow of positive energy around you. But Feng Shui is only one use of wind chimes and there are many, many more.

In our far, far past, wind chimes were used as a type of scarecrow in gardens to alarm small pest animals like rabbits and raccoons. Many backyard gardeners still do this today and Japanese glass wind chimes are the perfect choice for this use. Not only are they often beautiful pieces of art, they DO help keep those pesky rabbits out of your baby lettuce leaves!

Of course we can't ignore the most time honored reason for Japanese glass wind chimes and that is the sense of peace and tranquility that they bring to us. After coming home from a long and hard day at work, there is nothing quite so soothing as sitting in the garden or on the deck and letting the melodies of a wind chime help to relax your mind, body and soul.

Japanese glass wind chimes can have a healing effect on both the mind and the body. The sounds of the wind chimes are thought to release stress and emotional blockage and calm the mind. Wind chimes can reduce anger and tension and promote a sense of well-being. It is also believed that wind chimes can bring a sense of harmony and balance to ones garden and home.

From warding off evil spirits to providing a calm and soothing background noise in a garden, the Japanese glass wind chime has been with us for a long time and will continue to bring a sense of peace and balance to us all.

Feng Shui Bedroom and Love Tips: Feng Shui Love Check Up of Your Bedroom

Are you looking to attract a love partner? Or, maybe you are in a love relationship that needs a bit of help? Feng Shui has a variety of love tips, or tips for using feng shui to find (and keep!) a joyful love relationship.

Here is a quick feng shui love check-up of your home to see if you are really open and ready for lasting love.
  • Is your bedroom comfortable for two people? Feng shui-wise, if your bed is squished in one corner of your bed room or is hiding behind the door with just one lonely nightstand, you might have a hard time finding a functional love relationship. Feng Shui Love Verdict: Not ready, hiding away from love.

  • Does your bed have balanced feng shui energy on both sides? In a love relationship the bed is used by both partners. For a love relationship to work long term, both partners have to feel equal, respected, and treated well. Feng Shui Love Tip: Treat both sides of the bed in a feng shui balanced way, in other words, treat them equally.

  • Is there any free space in your closets? A closet that has some breathing room and a free flow of feng shui energy is not only promoting better health and more opportunities, but also, on a practical level, allows your loved one to store his or her items. Plain common sense here!

  • Check if the all-important feng shui home trinity - bedroom, bathroom, kitchen - is treated well.

  • Can you clearly visualize your life with the man or the woman of your dreams? How would that look, feel, taste, smell? Bring that sense into your home with specific images, feng shui colors, use scents (preferably pure essential oils) that reflect the energy you want. Feng Shui Love Tip: Avoid sad, broken heart images if you want to attract a happy love relationship.
Apply love-specific feng shui cures, such as objects in two, rose quartz crystals, etc.
To maintain a harmonious, joyful love relationship, you need a bedroom that is comfortable and reflects the beauty of the love relationship you want to be in.
